A. DeCarr Covington (1868 - 1913)

What is DeCarr's first name? I have seen Adrian, Ana and Annie. Several family members relate folklore stories with the name “Annie,” which may be a nickname or a derisive derivative of the original name. Usually it is just abbreviated with the initial “A.” In fact, I just don't know what the first name is.

DeCarr was among the Covington brothers in the turpentine business in Georgia during the 1880s.

The US census of 1910 for FL shows DeCarr in Polk County.

DeCarr's wife was Daisy Munroe.

Daisy's sister Bessie's house is shown in a photo. Bessie took Decarr's three children when Daisy died in 1904.
